Codice BSH RF5600
The Tasco laser rangefinder uses and offers high-level performance with an accuracy of +/- one yard. You can point to a deer at a distance of 182 meters, or to a tree at a distance of 366 meters or a maximum of a house at a distance of 549 meters as a reference point. the single activation button allows outdoor enthusiasts to measure distances easily and safely.
The Tasco laser rangefinder emits infrared energy pulses, invisible but not dangerous to the eyes. Digital circuits instantly calculate distances by measuring the interval needed for each pulse emitted to reach the target and return to the rangefinder.
The accuracy of the readings obtainable with the Tasco laser rangefinder is +/- one yard. In most conditions. The maximum range of the instrument depends on the degree of reflectivity of the target. The maximum distance for most objects is 400 yards / 366 meters, while for high reflectivity objects the maximum is 600 yards / 549 meters. Note: It will be possible to obtain both the maximum and the minimum distance, depending on the reflective properties of the particular target and the environmental conditions present when the distance of an object is measured.
The color, surface finish, size and shape of the target affect the reflective power and distance. The brighter the color, the greater the possible aiming distance. For example, red is highly reflective, and allows longer targeting distances than black, which is the least reflective color. A glossy finish allows for greater aim than a matte finish. A small target is more difficult to target than a larger target. Angle to target also affects reflective power and distance. Aiming at a target at a 90 degree angle (where the target surface is perpendicular to the flight path of the energy pulses emitted) offers a good aiming range, while a very narrow angle allows for a limited aiming range. In addition, the lighting conditions (for example, the amount of sunlight) affect the aiming ability of the unit. The smaller the amount of available light (for example, with a very cloudy sky), the higher the maximum aiming capacity of the unit. Likewise, very sunny days reduce the unit's maximum aiming ability.
METHOD OF USE
Looking through the eyepiece, press the power button once to activate the liquid crystal display (LCD). Point the Tasco laser rangefinder towards an object at least 10 yards away, press and hold the power button until the measured distance is displayed. Release the power button. Note: Once activated, the LCD of the Tasco laser rangefinder will remain active, and will indicate the measurement of the last distance for 30 seconds. You can press the power button again at any time to measure the distance to another target. As with any laser device, it is recommended not to directly observe emissions for long periods with magnifying glasses.
FEATURES
The LCD has illuminated indicators that warn the user of the unit of measurement, when the laser is active, the battery charge is low, and when a target is centered.
INDICATION OF THE UNIT OF MEASURE
The VOLT 600 can display distances measured in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located on the lower right of the LCD display. To select yards or meters the unit must be turned off. Looking through the eyepiece, press and hold the POWER button for about 5 seconds. During this time the liquid crystal segments and icons will remain displayed. holding down the POWER button, the display will switch back and forth from yards to meters. As soon as the desired unit of measurement is displayed, simply release the button. The appliance will return to the last unit of measurement set each time the unit is turned on.
FEATURES
The Tasco rangefinder is equipped with a monocular optical system with fixed focus to focus on the target. A liquid crystal display is mounted on the optical system which, when it is on, displays a reticle for aiming, the unit of measurement (yard) and the low battery indicators. The small black dots that appear in the optical system are intrinsic to the manufacturing process. They constitute a natural feature of the display and cannot be completely eliminated during production. However, they do not affect the performance of the rangefinder.
