The “Gladio Alato” project was created to provide the personnel of the 66th “Trieste” Airmobile Infantry Regiment with a specific dagger that incorporates the spirit, symbolism and needs of the department. To create it we collaborated with the CFA "Aircraft Training Center" and created the new 966. The squared blade recalls that of the Gladio from which it takes its name and the handle is the classic one of military tactical daggers but with a high grip workmanship/texture .

Given the type of tactical use of the department, we have added details to the pure dagger that make it suitable for emergency uses such as a glass breaker with slot and 2 holes placed on the guard to allow, in case of emergency, the attachment of the knife to others elements.

The 66th "Trieste" Airmobile Infantry Regiment is the only airmobile infantry department of the Italian Army, is based in Forlì, is part of the Friuli Airmobile Brigade and is powered by volunteer personnel.
