The basis for these improvements is the innovative Quick-Piercing 2.0 system with tool-free pressure release. The 12 g CO₂ capsule is pierced with a light touch on the Quick-Piercing screw on the bottom of the grip, ensuring that the TB 68 Gen2 continues to perform optimally even after long periods of storage. The grip texture has also been optimised and the barrel now features a muzzle thread (M22x1. 5) for mounting the X-Tracer and the included metal muzzle brake.

The TB 68 Gen2 features a 16-round tubular magazine for extended use. The powerful .68 caliber, combined with the double-action trigger, allows for rapid fire sequences with high ballistic power. Accuracy is enhanced by the rear sights, while the Picatinny rail allows for the mounting of optics and red dots.
